O.P. Proxy Problems
My university network has blocked ports 80 and 443 (I found out using Hopster), so I can't use MSN Messenger 7.5. However, with a bit of ingenuity, now only ICQ and skype works well through their HTTP proxy server on port 8888. Is there any way for me to use MSN Messenger using the configurations that I used for ICQ and Skype?

Over here, we have to connect to Telnet to be able to use the network. Using the proxy configurations, I don't have to connect to Telnet for ICQ and Skype. How do I not connect to Telnet to use MSN Messenger? Hopster doesn't work, since it says that ports 80 and 443 are blocked.

Thanks.

RE: Proxy Problems
Messenger uses port 1863, so shouldn't be blocked by the firewall. Though the block of 80 is stupid: that's HTTP.
