Hey the new messenger is great but, what happened with the emoticon panel? i really liked that function..

The new messenger plus! live.. sorry

me 2 I miss it lol.. I miss that and the "(!WAT)" thing =\ I don't use WMP and I don't like to have What i'm listening in my personal message

It has not been coded back in, but it should be soon. If you remember the panel shown emoticons you organised therefore it is a rather large feature to code .

Dahhh well, still being great..

heh I missed this post... so yeah, I'll add my tidbit:

The ability to have the smilies panel open up after beginning a smiley.  I haven't memorized all the codes for the smilies I use the most because I always use the panel, so it's much more effort to have to switch back to the mouse... I liked just typing the '(' and select the smiley.  Why was this feature removed?  Hopefully we'll see it back in the next update...

When I upgraded to Messenger Live with no MSG Plus, I put up with it knowing it would come back with the new Plus Live

as said before in many posts and many threads: it is not removed, it simply isn't added yet.

Remeber that Plus! Live is programmed from scratch, not a single feature is copied from Plus!3; everything is programmed from the ground up. This means if things aren't in the current build it doesn't nessecairly mean they are removed, it means they aren't added yet....

And as Patchou has stated in one of his posts: The QuickIcon Panel hasn't been added yet due to lack of time (it is a big feature to be programmed). It will be included in one of the next releases. For now you can press CTRL+E to bring up the Windows Live Messenger icon panel.
