This is driving me nuts.. since I installed Messenger Plus live my computer automatically restarts once I start the new windows live messenger. I don't know if other people are having the same problem, but i realized that as long as I don't run plus! the computer is fine and windows live messenger works properly.
Any ideas?

This is quite serious.

You say that as long as you don't run plus! everything's fine, therefore I can assume you have tried uninstalling msg plus! and seen that the issue doesn't occur (if you haven't, please do)

I can't personally assist you with that problem, but I'm sure someone who does is going to need your computer specs and the exact versions of Windows, Windows Live Messenger, and MP! Live.

Reinstall?... just try MP!L...if that doesn't work try reinstalling WLM and MP!L....

Also, do you have any patches? or other add-ons?

Can you go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer > Right click both Application and System and click Save Log File As and then zip them up and post them please.

i will try removing both MPL and WML and installing them again. If the problem persists then I'll post again.

As of the logs requested i attached the zip file.

Try checking your computer for spyware. Use popular tools like AdAware or Spybot Search and Destroy.

I also found this during my digging about your issue. Some people are saying its defective ram. Others fixed it by cleaning spyware.
