I have a friend that is still using MSN Messenger 7.5 and MessengerDiscovery X.

When he is online the text in the contaclist says Mobile/Online.

And the text on the Toaster says: xxxx has just signed in on a Mobile device

Is this something to be accomplished with a script?
Anybody here with the knowledge how to do that

He appears as Mobile as he has MSN Mobile set up. It's a feature that's been available for a good few years, if you're lucky enough to have a phone on a compatible network.

He has no MSN Mobile set up at all.
He has just installed MessengerDiscovery X (MD X). It is a feature you can have to fool everybody else to think that he is mobile.

Isn't this something to be able to do through a script?

Ah, OK. Such a thing isn't possible is pure script, as it's a protocol feature.

How sad.......
