OK. For the past two days everytime I log on to WLM, it freezes on me before its finished loading. I do not have plus downloaded yet on this computer. I am running XP Service Pack 2, with 1GB of memory and 80 GB of disk space. What can I do to fix this?

No, it's WLM 8.0

i had that problem once i had to do a clean installation
it includes removing it from add & remove and going to c"/program files and finding MSN Messenger and deleting the file

Tried that still freezes

Have you uninstalled it, restarted your computer, then installed it again?

Or maybe it's just pausing while it downloads all the contact data.

Have you tried just waiting for it to load properly? It can take a while to login fully, especially if you have a big contact list.
