Just a quick question which i hope will get a quick answer.

I am using Windows Live Messenger (WLM) 8.0.

I justed wanted to know what ports WLM used for webcam?

Other port numbers (for file transfer for example) would also be very helpful.

the network i am on uses

IEEE 802.1X Auth with Protected EAP

Secure Password EAP-MSCHAP v2

is it even possible for webcam / file transfer to work even with correct ports open?

aparently the ports are 8080, but i dont know if thats for the cam/file transfer.

Port 8080 is usually used for secondary webservers. The WLM webcam ports are elsewhere in the port range, I think somewhere in the 6000s.
