Are you using a version compatible with MP!L? Make sure you are using a version below 8.0.0812.00 or this one. If you are using 8.1 leak then i recommend you not to use leaks. But if you have a compatible version of messenger try this
Uninstall Windows Live Messenger and any program related to it(MP!L too)... and also simley central if you have it.
Delete the MSN Messenger Folder in Program Files
Install a clean unpatched version of Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0812.00 or below
Install Messenger Plus! Live.
That should solve it most probably.
If it doesn't post back with what all you tried.
