Does anyone know any programs for free where u can edit or create movies that is kinda or something like windows movie maker? My Windows Movie Maker always says unspecified error when ever i add movies, music, or to record a video with my webcam

whats wrong with a free trail of something?

I Geuss it would be fine for just making one but suppose if you wanted to make a few then its not so good, Although it will show you what the program is like and then you could mabay buy it.

Well un-install and then find a download source and re-install it.

Search for 'Windows Movie Maker'

do i just un-install the files from C:\Program Files\Windows Movie Maker?

Edit: Didnt work :\

Download 2.1 from microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx

If after installing that, it still fails, Reinstall the codecs:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/for...codecs/codecs.aspx

Failing that, reinstall Direct X
http://www.microsoft.com/directx/

Give you give us the exact error that you recieve. Also, when you say "un-install" you didn't just delete the folder I hope.
