Well hello there.

As everyone has most likely noticed, there isn't very much content on MPScripts, (well its actually down while upgrading forums, but anyway.)

I'm working on a new section of the site currently which will allow script devs to have their own 'mini-sites' if they want one, to hold info about their scripts, such as list of commands, faq etc etc, as i thought it could be useful to have all this in one place.

Another thing is for being able to search through existing scripts code, to see how they do things, for example you could search for 'RadioControl' and see how it is used by other scripts for reference.

Also does anyone have any suggestions for tutorials to go on the site?  Or even better, does anyone have some free time and want to put together a few simple ones?  Steps and screenshots how to do simple script sections, eg a 'Hello World' Script Window or howto parse for commands/tags.

But I'm starting to try improve the site atm, and just wondered if anyone had any suggestions/ideas for stuff to have on the site?  It's aimed at script developers more than users, as they can goto the script db.

ok... i will do some for you later when it is up and running for some simple scripts and that for those n00bs out there

i dont really know anything else that could happen to the site other than maybe make me admin

That's an excellent idea, a bit like the google code search.

I might write a couple tutorials if I have time.

Yea thats the exact kinda thing I was thinking of, but only searching through Plus! Scripts.

as you already know i like this idea i might also make some tutorials but dont hold me too it

I have kind of a suggestion for mpscripts, have a svn repository. (if you can of course )

So script-developers can easily manage their code and always have the latest updates on the site.

Yea that's exactly what I was planning when I said about seaching through existing scripts code.  I've been looking into installing SVN the last few days.

I think it would be awesome to search on a control name and get an example how to use it. This will be so handy for special controls, like DateTimeControls or ListViewControls.

I could write some stuff too, but try to finish the site first.

Yea exactly, also allows script devs to keep backups of their code somewhere.

Ya I'm gonna be working on it soon, trying out working less hours at my job now, so I can work on my own projects more
