O.P. Msn 8 Issues > Searched For Solutions
Hey,
I have Msn 8.0 and I installed Messenger Plus Live, after I did, msn started to freeze when I logged in, I was able to open it, and it wouldn't freeze, but as soon as I log in it does. This problem was not happening before I installed Messenger Plus. I tryed searching for solutions, but none of them worked. Oh, and i'm running it on Windows Xp Service Pack 2
Any Solutions?

Do you have any script for Messenger Plus! Live installed? Disable them. Also if you have any other addon for Windows Live Messenger except MP!L? remove it. Might solve your problem.

No, I do not have any other scripts. I even uninstalled MPL.

OK if your prepared to lose your custom emoticons and stuff, you can see if this will help you out. Also if you want your stuff like emoticons, etc backed up, have a search for a tool which does it, your bound to find a good one. Red Bull Racing Australia - Triple Eight Race Engineering - Holden |

Thanks alot, it worked. 
It was really starting to make me mad because I kept searching and searching, then finally I gave up and posted on here.
Although I don't think i'm going to use Plus again, especially considering that i'm using an unstable version of msn(beta).

My MSN Live Messenger is freezing up from time-to-time too... and I do have mess.be patch installed... Any idea how to workaround this (other than uninstalling the patch or Plus!?)
