i was just wondering if it was possable to protect old logs like i mean

i havent been useing a password on my logs and i would like to add one to them and also to my new ones and if i turn on log encryption it just protects the new ones is there away i can make all my logs protected

ummm all my logs aarein html format and the way u have got there seems to be foor.txt files

You can encrypt html ones aswell..aslong as they are generated by Plus!Live

example:
Start > run
type:
"C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live\Log Viewer.exe" /encrypt="c:\my logs\contact1@hotmail.com.html" /pwd="my password"
<enter>

replace c:\my logs\contact1@hotmail.com.html with the full path to the file you wish to encrypt and "my password" with the password you wish to encrypt it with (make sure strings which contain spaces are inside quotes).
