O.P. Question about alerts
I just downloaded MSN Live.
My old MSN 7.5 displayed alerts when contacts came offline. I mean, I had MSN Plus! with that too.
I'm wondering if I could set my messenger to do the same; i.e. to display alerts when contacts come offline?

Plus > Preferences > Customise > Events notifications > Add > select contacts  > Next >  choose notification.
