Hi people, i wanna make some test on the new WLM 8.1 and i need to simply stop MPL.

but how ?

i check, is not a service and he didnt launch at boot..

So, how can we simply stop Messenger plus live! ?

Either:
a) Uninstall MP!L
b) Exit WLM if its running and rename the file "msimg32.dll" (inside the WLM folder (usually C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger)) to something else so WLM doesn't load it. This is the proxy dll that MP!L uses to hook into WLM's process.

simply temporarily delete

MsgPlusLive.dll
MsgPlusLiveRes.dll
