i am having a problem. it seems that i can stay signed in to windows messenger live. but when i want to check my email, by clicking on the mail button in the main window in  messenger, it opens the internet explorer, then it shows a error message like my internet is not connected. then the other problem is i cant even sign into my account from firefox, by going to hotmail.com. when i do go to hotmail.com and sign it it says my password or username is wrong.

Have you ran any anti-virus software recently? It happened to me ages ago, I couldn't get onto any of the main websites or login because I had a trojan.

sorry everybody i found out what the problem was...
all i did was changed my password, then re tried it, and it worked.
