I downloaded the vista skin for my wlm, but it shows the contacts display picture on the contact list, how do i get rid of it? [I just like the names.]

Browse the main menus in cases like this...

What you ask for is a simple option you can select from Messenger's contactlist main menu:
Click on the up-down green arrow (beside the 'word-wheel') and unselect "show details"...

And my first reply should have been your first reply too, phillip, since that is the obvious support to give when someone asks for removing DPs in the contactlist....

I don't see how anybody could have smelled that he was talking about that. Also, neither could you, unless he PMed you what he is talking about (and if he didn't you're guessing too) and as such:

this is the 6572164516451 time that someone asks for support but doesn't provide details. Seeing he is even a Senior Member he should know that very well...

no, you either guessed it, or he either explained it to you in PM... Bottem line, when asking for support proper details should be given, especially from long time members who should know this...

He said the contacts display pictures are shown in the contact list and that he just liked the names only. Both things highly suggest that he showed the detailed view of the list in his contactlist if no further details are given.
