When I click on preferences either through the main WLM window or a conversation window, nothing happens.

The only thing I can think of that could maybe have caused this behaviour is lately I had a few friends using the PC and adding their accounts, and I recall at one stage seeing the preferences wizard come up and them doing something.

The preferences wizard, actually, I can access... but even after going through everything in there I can't access the main preferences window.

I don't know if this is the password protection feature somehow, but I checked my registry as per instructions elsewhere on the forum and its definitely not locked.

Help?

I experienced the same bug, when I was using other addons.
Do you use any other addons?
Does it still happen after uninstalling other addons?

Try download latest version again then.

Sweet Im or smily central is the most likly programs to cause this.

Any other dodgy program may do the same.

Just delete uninstall them then reinstall plus and every thing should be fine

I think it's a hook which returns -1 all the time

Well, I didn't install any add-ons... but I uninstalled and reinstallled Plus (keeping my settings of course) and it works great now.  Thanks
