I use the password to protect my preferences,but it can change some setting(for example-"chat logging") in ''configuration wizard'' without password. I think it is meaningless for me~

no, configuration wizard is only a quick overview of the preferences, but if you go Plus! -> Preferences you should be prompted to enter your password.
Using the Plus! -> Preferences method gives you additional options and configuration setups.

I agree with loleungweb, if you are protecting your passwords with password , then it should ask for password when you run Configuration Wizard. Because it would be meaningless to have that password.
