As the topic says, is there any function to check if my friend has MsgPlus installed? Hoow do i check

/ping will work if they dont have the ping reply disable, if they reply to it    "pong [seconds here]" then they have Messenger plus or you could ask them

too lazy to ask ppl if they have Messenger Plus ^^ what i'd like is a function that DOESNT send them a text msg

This has been discussed many times before, and simply put...no. There is no function like this and there never will be.

As duck! said, the only way to tell is to ask them, or use the /ping command, to which theiy will automatically reply Pong! (provided they have Plus! installed and haven't disabled responding to it)

i just had a thought it probally would have been done already
would it be possible to write a script that pings and responds but only to the person that sent it like when u nudge someone with an old version of msn?

no. Plus does not send out any information to any contact unless you tell it to. Plus is completly invisible to your contacts unless you specify a command that will send information to the contact window. Plus cannot send an invisible message to your contacts.
