Since installing the latest version of Messenger Plus with all of the defualt options on vista ultimate it crashes every time i start a conversation with someone.  Is this a known issue? or is it just me with this problem?

I have uninstalled Messenger Plus and msn and reinstalled msn (check it is working) then plus and get the same problem.

The lastest version of plus.. did you install all the scripts?
If so, disable each script one by one and check if that's the problem.. Once you disabled it and found it isn't the problem, re-enable it and disable the next script.

I have tried installing with NO scripts also, same issue.

OK have you tried a clean install of both messenger and messenger plus! ? you can try this but I'm not 100% on how well it is suited for vista

That's the only thing I can think of right now.

Yep, have removed both.  I haven't removed reg entries though so will try that this evening.  Plus is very handy so would like to have it
