Got an Acer 19' (Wide) LCD screen doest supports higer resolution, not more than 1280*768 the box says it goes upto 1400*900...
Now either Vita is screwed up or the graphics card or he screen for I have been using the screen for 3 hours now... whenever I restart the Maximum reslution in "Display Settings" changes....
Make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card.
Make sure your graphics card can also support that resolution (and the proper refresh rate)
Make sure you have installed the correct display drivers for your screen.
Note that not all drivers are Vista compatible yet.

The drivers are upto date of the video card, vista downloaded them her self....
How to find that out ?? the graphics card supports the resolution or not...
there are no display drivers that came with it.... vista has the LCD as "Generic Non-PNP Monitor" its an LCD!!!
