O.P. sounds help
I need some help with my sounds. My friend won't stop sending me sounds, and he won't stop when i ask him to. And if i stayed to hit stop everytime he sent one, i would stay on that page all the time. And i don't want to mute, because i am listening to my music. Is there a way to either mute the sounds, or keep them stopped when their sent. Or anything else to do while still using plus!?

RE: sounds help
Go to Plus>Preferences and click the General tab at the top. Then click "Sounds" and uncheck "Automatically play emotion sounds"

Hope this helps :)

RE: sounds help
why not just block the contact?

or

if you have chosen the "Don't play sounds while current media is set" in Plus! -> Preferences -> General -> Sounds

you could just set your status as busy

With the option "Play sounds when my status is Busy" unchecked from Messenger plus! preferences.

Also you can even uncheck the option if your friend sends new sounds, "Download emotion sounds automatically"

IMO the best thing to do with a contact like that is simply to block them.
However, if you do not wish to do that then either of the three above should help.
I'm awesome
