please fix this bug....
I dont know how to reproduce it as i get it for some contacts and not for others.
The contact list shows the contact's PM while i cant see it in the tooltip.

Other longer PMs are shown ok in the tooltips (meaning the PM is not too long to be trimmed)
Also it doesnt contain any special chars or anything...

It is so annoying to have to resize the contact list just to see a PM that should be shown in the tooltip.

I also get this bug, but I doubt it's MP! related. Haven't done any tests to confirm it though.

I noticed this problem too.

It happens to a lot of people on my list.

Surley doesn't happen when the contact is offline.
Doesn't seem to matter the online status, if the contact has formatting in their name, if the PSM is long or not.

Both accounts have each other and both show matty - - as the tooltip.

Ones status is Online, the other is Busy.
Both were set with a script.
Setting the PSM in Messenger's Contact list has no affect, same with the Messenger Options..

It's not related to Messenger Plus!, it also happens sometimes if you dont have it installed. So it's up to the WLM team to fix it.

This bug sometimes appears here too.

Edit: I asked to that contact if he used any script or add-on while writing his personal message, he said NO. But he said he was using Windows Live Messenger 8.5 BETA; and I'm using 8.1 . He said it was probably due to a compatibility issue with 8.5 and the previous versions of WL Messenger. Also pay attention to TazDevil's screenshot, he is using 8.5 and Matty probably isn't using it. Are you, Matty?

I don't like this bug either but I already confirmed that it's not caused by Messenger Plus!. I've had it since the release of Messenger 8.1, at least.
