O.P. [Request] Last.fm "what i'm listening to"
Well searched the forum and didn't find anything about it :P

How about a script that puts what i'm listening in the Last.fm client in "what i'm listening to" in WLM ?
Well for when listening to a radio, cause with mp3 it would be any of the players that's already possible to put there.

Well bye.

I was wondering about doing a last.fm integration script, but I'm not sure if I'll get round to it soon or not.

EDIT: Not really for the last.fm player so much.

yeah, i second this request

how can i make a java application read the tooltip from the tray icon from the last.fm? i really want a msn "now playing" plugin for the last.fm streaming application, im even willing to learn some java to actually manage this, ive tried editing the "now playing" scripts already here, but to no avail, i dunno java so its all like chinese, but im willing to give it a try, of course id be happier if someone who really knows about it can help me out

I have already looked into this. I would learn how, but I'm busy with something else. If anyone else wants to do it, here is the tool you can use to create it.

I just started making a basic player for last.fm radio, ill attach it to this post in a little while, if anyone else wants to continue it :P

edit:

attached, just download the zip and extract the player file and put it into the players subdirectory of Now Playing

normally C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live\Scripts\Now Playing\players

then stop and start Now Playing and Lastfm should show up on your list of players :)

.zip File Attachment: Lastfm.player.zip (1.79 KB)
This file has been downloaded 145 time(s).

You could always ask them where to find the current track info on the website and then just use the xmlhttp object to display retrieve it and then display it in your PSM. I did it for FragFM, but lost the script in one of my many hard drive crashes
