Hello
I'm selling my Belkin 125 Hi-Speed router today because the signal is to weak (it has to go trough 3 walls and trough a ceiling (slant) which would be about 3m concrete
.
In anyway, I have a good signal here but when I close my laptop it's mostly gone and if I move somewhere else it's done.
I planned to go and get a Linksys with rangebooster (I guess that's a seperate device like an access point?) so the signal would have to go trough 2 walls to the access point and then straight trough the ceiling (i'd put it below my room) which should be better imo.
But some friend adviced me a Ruckus Mediaflex NG which is this:

He says my signal would be good everywhere in my home and i would get a minimum troughput of 18mbps (which i guess i don't have at the moment altough windows states 54mbps).
Although it's kinda hard to believe for me. The ruckus would have to be at the same spot my router is now and it would still have to go slant trough the ceiling and the 4 walls. Plus even if it would be better; my laptop still sends a omnidirectional signal back; which is what my router does now and it's apparently not good enough.
So what should I do? Am I missing something
