I'm using Windows 2000, MSN messenger 7.0 and Messenger Plus! 3.63.148

*I want to open some encrypted chat logs (PLE files) but when I go to the folder  and try to open one, it comes up with "select program" and all the usual stuff it does when it doesn't recognise a file extension. I choose the Messenger Plus! exe file and click ok
Nothing happens.

I click on Plus! in the File, Contacts, Actions... menu in MSN messenger and choose "Open log files". It just comes up with the folder. Return to the *
Any ideas?

I suggest you simply reinstall Messenger Plus! 3, it will reassociate the file extensions. Log files are opened with a special command line, you can't just associate the Plus! executable to them .
