Anyone got any good new message,mail, and online sounds for WLM cos im really get bored with the default ones

My ICQSounds script adds a few sounds. I suggest you to try it, it's pretty entertaining.

I think you can replace them yourself, just open up your Windows Live Messenger directory. You should find sound-files there (WMA files), just replace them with your own Vista sounds, and it should work! Don't forget to restart Messenger after your replacements.

It seems however, that the Vista sounds are saved as WAV-files, so you have to convert them to WMA before using them. Google it.

Indeed.  I don't even really hear the sounds, half the time they don't even work on my messenger.  But if you must replace them, do what vikke said.  You can find some of the converters here.

Don't you know you can change the notification sounds of Messenger via Windows Live Messenger's Options window? Even it supports .mp3, .wma, .wav formats. This feature has been introduced with Live version of Messenger.
