I opened a zip file thru messenger and now my computer is sending out spam email to email addresses that I don't recognize and they are not from me (i.e. the sender email address is one I don't recognize) None of the virus protection programs that I have are catching it. What is it? How do I get rid of it?!

Try changing your MSN password and see if that helps

thats not going to do anything, he said its not coming from his address, so its not his MSN

yeah and besides I had already tried that. It seems to have embedded the virus somewhere in my hard drive and every so often it just blasts all these random spam emails to  A LOT of different emails.... I even uninstalled MSN and still nothing - it continued as it was before
