The problem I've been having is that with a certain contact (who is using a slightly older version of Messenger (windows live) w/o Msg plus) I cannot play the in window games.
What happens is that the invitation is sent, I accept, the game loads, and then it waits on "Waiting for opponent"... I assumed thats what it was doing until about 3 minutes later when normally a game has long loaded and it was realised that both our computers where showing the "waiting for opponent" at the same time and not moving.
We tried various games (uno, checkers, minesweeper flags etc etc) but they all do the same thing. With other contacts I have had no trouble running games at all...
I am running Windows Live Messenger 8.5 with the latest Msg Plus live.

Any chance a firewall or something could be blocking one of you connecting?

I've always had problems connecting to those games with other people. Usually the same problem as you

I assume if that was the case it must be on the other persons end since I've been playing against other people no problem?
