O.P. Undecided  How to set Mcafee to scan
anyone here using mcafee knows how to set it to scan incoming msn files from friends?

i tried setting it to the one that starts up on login but mcafee did not automatically scan incoming files.

i would rather not have to install another anti virus program least if anything happens i wont be the one to get blamed =/

and yes mcafee sucks big time when i can be surfing the net and suddenly it give me the mcafee privacy content crap and i have to relog in just to surf the net again.

im using McAfee SecurityCenter :)

RE: How to set Mcafee to scan
look in the wlm options and under file transfer

make sure mcafee is in there if it is then it does scan em if not here is what u can put in

How to scan with McAfee Entrprise:

C:\Program Files\Network Associates\VirusScan>scan32 /AUTOEXIT %1

Mcafee AntiVirus from MSN uses "c:\progra~1\mcafee.com\vso\mcvsftsn.exe"

not sure if they are it but can try and see

there is also this one can try it

C:\Program Files\McAfee\VirusScan\mcods.exe
