Hello, I was recently installing Windows Service Pack 3 earlier tonight and during installation, I recieved this message:

ERROR LOADING: C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\wbemupgd.dll

So I clicked OK and then after the installation of Service Pack 3 had finished, I clicked Restart Now.

My computer does not now boot, instead I recieve a blue screen with this message:

STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000139 (0x00000000 0x0000000)
The system has been shutdown.

I have read the following Microsoft Support Article, but do not understand it too deeply:

I have tried starting my computer from Safe Mode / Last Known Good Config / Normal Mode and I keep recieveing the blue screen message above.

How do I get a command prompt when my computer does not start?

I have tried to boot from my XP installation disk in the CD Drive, but I still recieve the blue screen message.

Is there anything else I can do?

I would love all and any help!

So you cannot completely boot from the disk at all?

You should probably download the Ultimate Boot CD for Windows  (~200mb) which will provide you with, among other things, a command prompt screen. If you happen to have the installation cd for Vista that would also provide an adequate command prompt for usage. The Command Prompt on the XP installation disk is dodgy and restricts your permissions and what you can do a bit, so it's usually best to find an alternative way, such as those I mentioned above.

As for solving the problem, I can't be of much help there sorry.
