for some reason it won't let me set up my email using my windows account... i'm not very computer savvy, so i know i'm missing something or just doing it all wrong..

can someone help me out??

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do.

Do you mean you're trying to set up your email address with your Windows account? Go to Control Panel > User Accounts > Select account > Set up my account to use a .NET Passport. I don't see what that has to do with Messenger Plus! Live though?

If you're trying to use the New E-mail Notifications feature in Messenger Plus! Live, you need to tell us who is your email provider (e.g. Hotmail, Gmail, etc.)?

If you could provide some more details or try and explain clearer, would be appreciated.
