i have the same problem, i downloaded windows live beta and all the contacts names are nt colour and neither mine, i have the colour codes but its just not working ive been searching for hours please reply as soon as possible, thanks to whome may help me.

Messenger Plus! Live is not yet compatible with the latest build of Windows Live Messenger 14 (sometimes named version 2009 or 9).
