Hello,

I suggest that Msgplus can add a function which can prompt me when contact change his/her display picture. Just like the existence function: Events notification. When someone signin or logout, I can know immediately. Would it be possible to add this function in the coming version of msgplus? Thanks

WLM2009 includes something like that(What's new)

Yes, in WLM9, i believe it's at the bottom notification bar on your contact list.

Not sure about a toast though

Yes, I know that.. But if I need to know that, I need to open the WLM main windows and wait for the WLM checking.. It can not get the most update information immediately. That's why I suggest to add this function in Events notification.

Unfortunately its not possible to add in such an event into Messenger Plus. I'm not sure of the exact technical reasons, but this discussion goes back to a question about scripting, to have an event triggered in the scripting engine when the DP is changed for the current user. Also, updates to the display picture for other contacts are not always sent immediately. If no session is open with the user (ex. a chat window) then the DP is not necessarily updated until a chat window is opened, contact info viewed etc.
