I can't open the box which can send message to my friend.
There is an error box when I double click my friend's msn in my contact list which is said,"We cannot open the conversation with XXX,please try again."
Then, I try it again and there is also an error box appears.
What should I do now?

Please provide your version of Windows Live Messenger "Help>About Messenger" and a screenshot of that error.

I have updated Messenger Plus! Live when I online my msn.
I don't know what is my version of Windows Live Messenger.

Does this happen with all of your contacts or just one?

Do you have any skins applied to Messenger?

Have you tried re-starting your computer?
