O.P. Sign-in error 8001012e

Hi,
I downloaded Messenger Live Messenger 2009 but I am always getting this error code 8001012e when trying to sign-in.
I uninstalled and re-installed it about 5 times and cleared temporary files using CCleaner, but still the same error code.

Any ideas???

You could always try google search results....i can't read most of them as they aren't in english...but you (or someone else here) may be able to.

There don't seem to be too many clues.

Did version 8.5 work okay?

Are you using any add-ons on your Windows Live Messenger?

Do all other areas of your internet access work?

Does Messenger 2009 work on any other computers in your house?
