O.P. Windows Live Problem
Hey Guys!
I've updated my WLM from the previous version to the latest and I always have this problem with it. Signing in takes forever but after around 5 seconds it shuts me down. I get no error codes just the generic message that the Windows Live Communications Platform found an error so it shuts down.
When I first got this I uninstalled everything and reinstalled the previous version. It worked just fine but it annoyed me to no end that it kept giving me the messages that the new version was out and I should update it so I did, hoping it would work this time. But I got the same thing, I couldn't even sign in before it shut me down.
Yes, I tried looking around first, I did the registry editing that seemed to solve the problem for many, but to me the only changes it brought that WL signed in quickly from then on, but still shut down after around 5 seconds. It's driving me nuts, so could anyone please help? I have Windows XP.
