I was attempting to chat with a friend of mine via webcam, and I ran into a bit of a problem. We connected in a video conference, and (since there are two boxes: One that shows your camera and one that shows the other person's) I could see her and myself just fine, but she could only see herself. Even though my camera worked fine locally, she couldn't see me, and my picture simply had the crossed out webcam symbol.

I checked the box that allows others to see that I have a webcam, and I made sure she wasn't on my block list. Any other suggestions?

do you have the same problem when just viewing webcams? (instead of a video conference)

Actually, I just tried video conference and it works, but Cam2Cam still doesn't work. Since C2C has better quality, I'd much rather use that, but it's not working with my webcam. I'm a bit confused, I'll admit. Why would it work with video conferencing and not in C2C?
