So I just downloaded a new skin but every time I put the skin on and restart my messenger I cannot log in and get an error (Error 81000306), I have made sure that the skin is compatible with the versions of msn and msgplus. Anyone know what to do????

A skin shouldn't be able to affect messenger in this way at all...

This is the skin I was trying to use and it still does the same thing when I try to use it, and once it messes up I have to do the repair thing where is sets all my settings to default in order for me to log in again.

It might possible that the skin you downloaded is corrupt.Download It again and apply It.May be It will work. Let me know the outcome of It.

Nope, it is not a corrupted skin. If it was, all he would get would be a SkinTrace.txt at skin's folder.
Do you use anyother addon for messenger?
Skins really can't effect messenger that way as far as I know...
