O.P. Undecided  Would it Be possible?
Hey Everyone,
Would it be possible for someone to make a script to disable the default emoticons in Windows Live Messenger?

What i mean is for it to disable them so you can't see the emoticons for say example :)  in Windows Live Messenger and your contacts can't see :) ect when you send them.

Please,
I really hate them.

Thank you To everyone.

Not quite what the OP wanted. He wanted to disable them on both ends.

I managed to get it working. And very effectively I might add. I made use of the zero width space. By inserting this character into the middle of the emoticon it will simply show the code for the emoticon on both ends.

Cheers!

No actually you can't. The new message cannot be larger than that of the message received.

However the message you send can be up to as large as the protocol allows. Well 1500 with Messenger Plus!
