if i add someone new,it will tell me they dont have me on their list.and thats ok.once they add me,it will show they have me on their list,but after they have taking me off their list,i still see them that they have me on their list,i dont know why,is this bcos im using windws 7 or?

You should sign out and re-sign in to make your "Reverse list" to be updated on your computer. Also your reverse list on the server may not be able to be updated for some reason when your friend deletes you off his list. What Messenger Plus! does in only retrieving your "Reverse list" from Messenger itself so it is not related to MsgPlus!, it can only be related to Messenger itself.

The same thing is happening to me. And I've checked this with additional account. When someone of my contacts deletes me from their list, it's not showing in my contact list clean up, status stays as if I'm still in their list.

It can take a few days in order to update sometimes....or sometimes requires a few instances of signing in and out again.

Basically it shouldn't be taken as 100% accurate...for example I have one contact who it shows up as me not being on their list, when I know for a fact that I am.

So basically we can't rely on the Contact List Clean Up
at this moment because of an issue with WLM ?

I have the same problem. I have 2 WL account:
- Private One (xxx@gmail.com) on my Desktop PC
- Work related (xxx@live.com) on my Works Laptop

I added my work related WL account in my privates WLM
on my desktop pc and my laptop with the Work related WLM
puts up the message of new contact so I gradually accept it.

Now if I go see in my Private WLM Tools > Options > Privacy
the Work Related doesn't show up and neither does in the
Contact List Clean Up from MSGPlus. It says underneath In list > No.

On the other hand if I check all this at the Work Related WLM
under Tools > Options > Privacy It shows my Private one and in
Contact List Clean Up of MSGPlus it also shows In List > Yes.

Any explanation for this or is their a general blocking now if you add
a new contact on private aka not a @hotmail.com or @live.com, that
you can't check the Contact List Clean Up or the Has you added feature ?

Seems so at this moment. And before you start about the updates.
It's been like this for like 14+ days and I have the 2 pc's up
and running with both accounts active a couple of hours a day!

The problem is with the Messenger servers, not with the feature of Messenger Plus! Live, nor with the new version of Messenger.

I run WLM 2009 on my Desktop and aMSN on my Mac laptop and both show the same contacts as not having me in their contact list even though I know for a fact that they all do.

There is obviously some kind of problem synching with the Messenger servers and the notifications on who has you in their contact list.

Basically the only answer is to wait for Microsoft to address the problem

Yea its true that theres a problem on that feature ..

Can someone post a link or somethin to check whether the Microsoft is fixing this bug or not ?
