O.P. Sad  BIG GLITCH IN CONTACT LIST CLEAN-UP
First of all, I am using Windows Vista x64 ; Messenger Build 14.0.8089.726 ; Plus! 4.83.0.372

My problem is that...When I click "Contacts List Clean-up" under the "Has You" option, it says "No" for ALL my contacts, meaning that none of them have me on their list. However, I found that a bit weird since (1) I asked many and they said they do have me, and (2) When I come online, they are able to msg me and thus they do have me on their list. I'm 100% sure this is a glitch!
So, how can I fix it? So i ACTUALLY know who has me, and who does not? Thank you!!!!
P.S. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Plus! but that did not help! There must be another way to fix this.....

There have been issues with WLM's reverse lists lately... This is where MP!L gets it's information from...

What's WLM reverse? And what's MP!L?

And if there's an issue, are they not aware? How do I fix this?

John,

A reverse list (RL) contains all the people that have you in their lists, as opposed to the forward lists (Allow AL, Block BL and Friends FL) that contain various parts of your own contact list, that is, people that you have in your list.

The Messenger team is currently focusing on internal development of Windows Live Essentials 2010 (v15), so it might be that there are not too many resources on fixing bugs at the moment.  There has been a silent update to the Windows Live Contacts (wlcomm).  Perhaps if you install it your problems are gone.

Best,

It's definitely nothing to do with WLM, WLComm or any contacts cache, as I get exactly the same info on aMSN on my Mac as well on my PC, both of which are showing inaccurate reverse lists.  The problem exists with the data not being received from the WLM Servers properly

That's interesting. The version I have of MSN is 14.8089.726.  Am I right in thinking that this is an old version?

If so i'm not sure how to update it because I supposedly have auto uptades from Microsoft.

It's the same version, you just missed the minor build number.
