I know that doesn't make any sense but its true. I've verified and re-verified my email and it takes me to the link saying that "ya, you're already verified, stop coming here" (no it doesn't really say that)
But when I go into messenger and talk to my friends I still get that stupid long message beside my name saying "this email is not verified"
Now I'm confused, the thing obviously can't make up its mind >_<
so...please help

It takes some time for all the services to update themselves. Wait 24 hours and if you still can't change your display name, give them a shout.

ya...this was over...like month ago. I'm just now getting fed up with it.
