It may depend on your specific situation and how much ease of use you are looking for. But in general TrueCrypt is rated highly among security-minded people.

It's what we use at work for securing all of our passwords and sensitive data, having been introduced by my boss who has previously worked for some very security minded companies handling all kinds of information that needed encrypting
