Can anyone help? as after i updated my MSN shell, i cant log in into my account, and it appears the error code 80048827. bt then i try to log in by using another account, it has no prob. Can anyone here assist to solve this pls...
1. Go to MSN.com
2. Click 'Sign In' in the upper right hand corner
3. Sign In using the credentials you use for your Messenger account
4. You will be taken to a screen that asks for a new password
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to enter a new password
6. After you are done, try and log into your Messenger software again with the new password
I can't log into messenger or even my hotmail account. I have been prompted to change password, but it never completed, it comes back with a server busy or technical difficulty. Is anyone else still having trouble?scratch that, the change password page just keeps coming up with nothing happening. 4 days without hotmail, getting old fast!
I get same error message no matter which windows live app I try to access (hotmail / messenger / support forum).
"We're unable to complete your request Windows Live ID is experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later. " (80048827)
I tried accessing from a different computer and still no luck.
i have the same exactly problem with bambyzur. I cant log in to my messenger cause of this error code: 80048827. But i cant also log in to my mail and change password. Says exactly the same : technical difficulties. Any help here plz? Is my email getting scammed? dunno what else i can guess. i logged with my gf's account and everything is fine. Mine is bugged or something?

If this has just happened leave it a while - It may be technical issues.
Always check this (new) page first if you get errors or if you can't sign in into a Windows Live Service: http://status.live.com/
From now on you can also browse the status history to see past problems, etc...
If it says there is a problem (no green checkmark or an exclamation overlay on the green checkmark), read the possible instructions on that page/or wait until it gets fixes.

I managed to get my problem fixed:
I asked my friend to login from her network (different internet connection) to my account and reset the password for me.
After that, everything started working again...
