Hi,

Is there a way to just see who the IM is from w/out the whole message being displayed (iPhone 3). I recently downloaded the Messenger app. Even when I lock my phone, the IM pops up w/the sender's name and message.

Any way to just alert me that I have a new IM?

You would be better off asking whoever develops the app. It would be possible, but it will be whether they are willing to add it as an option
