Live Messenger-Access DB; need a replacement
One of my friends has an application that works integrated with Live Messenger. They are using it for their clients. Just to give you an idea here is how it works:
1. Client submits a serial number to Messenger
2. This request comes to corporate office and an Access Database search initiated
3. If information is found in the database and OK otherwise N/A is returned.
We heard Microsoft discontinues Live Messenger, they need to move the same process to Skype. Does anybody know if this is possible with Skype? Any sample code/script would be very helpful. Thanks.
