hey i think i found an error with the coding of the quick icons box i'm using the 6.2 build of plus i set an emoticon to >:-' yet when i press the ( afterwards the box won't load can someone check this for me

the box wouldn't load... you sure it's ENABLED?
Go To: Preferences
look under "Instant Messages" / Quick Icons and double check the top check box is ENABLED

By default, Messenger Plus! doesn't display the quick icons panel if the character before the ( is :, - or '

There's a registry setting to change this, look at http://msgplus.net/?view=help_registry
