O.P. Roll Eyes  Why user was banned in profile...
Hmmm...
WDZ can you add something in the user's profile (banned users) to say the reason the user was banned?
Because its a bit stupid and boring to ask at T&T why the user was banned...
YouTube closed-captions ripper (also allows you to download videos!)

That has already been suggested and the forum staff said they don't have to say why a member has been banned and that you don't have to worry about those things.

We staff do have a good reason (sometimes good reasons :P) to ban a user. The reason is shared by us all, staff members. I personally don't think there is a need to let you know everything...I mean, our decision is...kinda final :P (Oh well, mine isn't, but admin's is.:P)

Thats exactly the reason.

If its not announced, then it isnt any of your business and you shouldnt be worrying about it.

Generally users are banned for spamming the forums.. A good example of this is a user who recently had his name changed (hint: chaos_grenade).

Thats all fine a well, I dont disagree, we don't have to tell anyone.

I do have a suggestion of e-mailing the user who we ban with a reason automatically through the account they registered on this forum with. Just one minute seeing a normal forum, then the next seeing a no permissions page. :undecided:

Unless banned users see another page? :undecided:

Maybe I should talk about this is Forum Staff. O_o

I think that's a good idea. I didn't realise that banned members didn't get told.

I think, if there WAS this area in user profiles, there would be a lot of "Because I felt like it" or ":blah!:" or "Just...because!"

 :P

I'm willing to code that... see the bottom of this post. :p

They see an error message... no reasons though. An option could be posting the reason there instead of e-mailing... I dunno.
