it isn't GUARENTEED to do that, but there's a fairly good chance it will although mine one suffered one minor crash after, but u neva noe, thatz y they call it "beta", and i still dunno bout the windows update thing, cuz i go over to my friends house and chek for it and it is neva there maybe itz sum random microsoft thing... i dunno

Err... it doesn't patch uxtheme.dll, which is what SP2 patches, and it does its work in memory as you say it, so SP2 shouldn't fail to install due to StyleXP.

Anyway, there are already updated uxtheme patchers out.
