Hi my webcam will not work on msn can i get some help?

Make sure everything is connected. Your Computer meets the Minimun system specs and all software needed is installed. Check your webcam settings also.

I can get it to work on my p.c. on its own programs just not msn.

Well did you go Tool's>Web Cam Settings in convo window?

Yes but nothing happens and it works when i do the test but not when i try it in the convo.

You may be behind a firewall or may be using Internet-sharing software or hardware, a system also known as ICS/NAT. If you are behind a firewall, contact your Network Administrator and request that they consult MSN Messenger Help topic "About connecting from behind a firewall" (Help | Help Topics | All Topics). The basic functions of MSN Messenger should be unaffected because ICS/NAT issues affect only certain features.

Also, make sure your contact is not behind a firewall or ICS/NAT. If possible, try this with more than one contact to verify the problem is not with just one contact.

also, go to tools->audio/video tuning wizard, msn messenger need to recognize all hardware first

Make sure the webcam you own actually supports the instant messageing feature. Also that ur messenger recognises that you do actually have a webcam, mine didnt at first i forget how i got it working though...
